Atishi Singh, also known as Atishi Marlena, is an Indian politician, educator, and MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) from the Delhi neighborhood of Kalkaji. 

She is presently the Minister of Education, P.W.D., Culture, and Tourism for the Delhi Government.

Atishi Marlena was born in Delhi, India on June 8, 1981. Atishi is a member of the Punjabi Rajput family. She has 41 years of age.

Both her parents, Vijay Singh and Tripta Wahi, were professors at Delhi University. Atishi has an older sister whose name is Rosa Basanti. Atishi's spouse is Pravin Singh.

Atishi's parents named her Marlena after Marx and Lenin. In August 2018, Atishi Marlena removed her surname from social media to avoid identification.

Atishi studied at Springdales School in New Delhi and completed their in April 1998. She graduated in 2001 with a B.A. (Hons.) in History from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.

Atishi got her Master's degree in Ancient and Modern History from Oxford University in 2003, placing third in the university. In 2006, she earned her second master's degree.

Atishi worked as a teacher at the Rishi Valley School in Andhra Pradesh for one year. Her next work was as a researcher for the Maharashtra-based NGO Eklavya.

She contested as an AAP candidate in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, but lost against the BJP's Gautam Gambir. Even so, she won the 2020 Delhi Legislative Assembly election the following year.

Since February 2020, Atishi Marlena has been serving as an MLA for the Delhi government. President of India Droupadi Murmu made her a Cabinet Minister in the Delhi government on March 8, 2023.

Atishi's current net wort is estimated to be $5 million. She contributed significantly to both the historic protests and the subsequent legal battle.
