Bekal Fort: A Picturesque Old Fort On The Sea Side Of Kasargod!

Bekal Fort is one of the biggest forts in Kasargod, Kerala. It covers 40 acres and is surrounded on three sides by the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea.

The Bekar Fort was built by Sivappa Nayaka of Bednore in the year 1650 AD. It has beautiful scenery that will take your breath away.

There are different holes inside the fort, and from these holes, anyone can get a great view of the sea. However, people on the sea can't see inside the fort.

Winter is the best time to enjoy all of Bekal's natural beauty. Evening breezes in Bekal are always sure to lift the spirits of tourists.

The beautiful temple of Lord Hanuman is located at the entrance of the fort, which was recently renovated.

Due to its height of 30 feet and the circumference of the Arabian Sea, the tower offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea's rocky shoreline.

Underground passages are a great part of the fort's design because they connect different parts of the fort to the outside. Two of these, on the other hand, are still whole.

The Bekal Fort is open every day from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The only times this place is closed are on public holidays.

Although tickets cost Rs. 5 per person for Indians and Rs. 100 per person for foreigners.
