Neha Tanwar is from a Rajput family. Her father is a government officer and her mother is a homemaker. She has a brother, Siddharth Tanwar.

She was married to Rituraj on February 9, 2011. In 2014, the beautiful couple welcomed their baby, Shlok.

She did her secondary education from MCL Saraswati Bal Mandir Senior Secondary School in Hari Nagar, Delhi. She completed her B.Com at Maitreyi College (2006).

Neha started cricket at the age of 17. Neha Tanwar played for her college team, university team, and state team in just 2 years after starting the sport.
