Kukke Subramanya temple is located in the Subramanya village in Kadaba taluk in the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka state in India.
The temple is open everyday from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The midday darshan break is from 1:30 to 3:00. Attend multiple poojas and sevas during the midday break.
Men must remove their shirts and vests before entering the Darshan line. Females can wear churidars, sarees, or suitable clothes. Small children visiting the temple don't need to dress up.
Parashurama's seven holy locations include Kukke Subramanya Temple. The Hindu demigod Garuda, Lord Vishnu's vehicle, hunted Vasuki, who fled to Kukke Subramanya.
Pushpagiri Trek, also known as the Kumara Parvatha Trek. The journey is of low to moderate difficulty and may be undertaken by anyone with average fitness.
From Subrahmanya Temple to Kumaradhara, Biladwara Cave is a must-see. Legends say Naga king Vasuki fled to this cave to avoid Garuda's wrath.
Matsya Tirtha is situated on the banks of the river Kumaradhara, whereas Panchami Tirtha is in near vicinity to the river.
