Ishan Kishan: All About The Pocket Dynamo Of Mumbai Indians!

Ishan Pranav Kishan plays international cricket for India. Ishan, known as "Pocket Dynamo," plays for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.

He plays for the Jharkhand cricket team in domestic cricket. Ishan is a wicket keeper-batsman who hits with his left hand and bowls leg breaks with his right arm.

He is the youngest and fastest batsman to achieve a double century in an ODI match and the first to convert a first ODI century into a double century.

Ishan was born in Patna on July 18, 1998. His mother is Suchitra Singh and his father is Patna builder Pranav Kumar Pandey. Doctor Raj Kishan is Ishan's older brother.

Ishan is dating fashion model, Miss India finalist 2017, and Miss Supranational India 2018 Aditi Hundia. She founded fashion company Label Aditi Hundia.

Ishan went to school in Patna at the Delhi Public School. Later, he signed up for college at the College of Commerce in Patna.

Due to registration complications between the Bihar Cricket Association and the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Ishan played for Jharkhand, despite being born in Bihar (BCCI).

In the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy, the cricket player scored a great 273 runs against Delhi, which was a new record for Jharkhand.

After a year, he was put on the India C team for the 2018–19 Deodhar Trophy, where he scored a hundred in the final game.

In the IPL, the Gujarat Lions bought him at the 2016 auction. Later in 2018 Mumbai Indians bought Ishan.

Mumbai Indians bought the cricketer again in 2022 for a record 15.25 crore (US$1.9 million). Ishan was the second-most expensive Indian cricketer at the auction after Yuvraj Singh.

The cricketer was in India's T20I squad for the home series against England in February 2021. He scored 56 runs in 32 balls in the opening match to win player of the match.

Ishan was named to India's ODI and T20I teams for the Sri Lankan tour in June 2021. In September, he was selected for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup by India.

Ishan's best score in an ODI was 93 runs, which he got in the second of three games against South Africa in October 2022.

He became the fastest ODI double century scorer with 210 runs off 131 balls against Bangladesh. He scored the first double century in his debut ODI contest.
