Social Media Sapna Gill Was Arrested for Allegedly Striking Prithvi Shaw’s BMW With A Baseball Bat

Sapna Gill, a social media influencer recently made news headlines for her arrest. The popular actress from Chandigarh along with one of her male friends attacked the cricketer Prithvi Shaw’s BMW.

The reason was as small as not clicking a selfie with her! That’s right, a small request for a selfie turned into a heated argument when Sapna Gill along with her friend chased Prithvi Shaw in Mumbai. A police complaint was registered to solve the matter.

According to the complaint report, there were approximately 8 people whose names popped up in this case. These people not only broke the windshield of Prithvi Shaw’s BMW but also demanded Rs. 50,000.

They threatened to file a fraudulent police case against the cricketer. A video of this incident has been circulating on social media. According to that, Prithvi Shaw was attacked by a drunk group of friends and that video looks scary. Prithvi was somehow successful in snatching the baseball bat from Sapna Gill. This tells the fans that they have no right to misbehave with a celebrity.

Sapna Gill is not a commoner but a social media star with around 221k Instagram followers. But that’s not it, she has also starred in a few Bhojpuri movies like Nirhua Chalal London and Kashi Amarnath. Sapna has worked with celebrities like Dinesh Lal Yadav and Ravi Kishan but this incident would surely create a huge impact on her career now.

Sapna currently lives in Mumbai and continuously uploads fashionable content on her official account for her followers. She also posts entertainment and dance videos to keep her fans hooked. But this forceful act of getting a selfie along with demanding extortion money has shifted her to jail. She was arrested by the police of Mumbai soon after the cricketer Prithvi Shaw lodged a complaint.

In the written police complaint, the incident was clearly mentioned. The fight started at a luxury hotel that is near the Mumbai Airport. Sapna along with her friend Shobhit Thakur came to the cricketer for clicking a selfie.

Although Prithvi Shaw got a few pictures clicked, Sapna and her friend demanded more selfies and refused to back off. Then ultimately Shaw called the hotel manager and his friend to help them get aside. This didn’t go down well with the two fans.

They waited outside the hotel for Prithvi Shaw with a few friends and all of them had baseball bats. They mobbed the cricketer and when Prithvi got out of the scene in his car; the gang chased him. Prithvi was intercepted near Oshiwara and that’s where the gang used the bats to break the windshield.

Everything was clearly informed in the incident and Sapna Gill has been arrested. All eight people have been accused of criminal intimidation, IPC, rioting, unlawful assembly, extortion, and other charges. But she and her friends are not confirming that and saying that every piece of information is wrong.
