Rajveer Deol: Unknown Facts About Director-turned-Actor!
Rajveer Deol is an Indian assistant director-turned-actor who is all set to make his acting debut in the Hindi film industry. Hailing from an actor family, Rajveer made his entry into Bollywood by working as an assistant director.
The budding actor got trained under Feroz Abbas Khan, a theatre and film director. The acting launchpad for Rajveer will be ‘Dono’, the upcoming Hindi film directed by debutant director Avnish Barjatya.
The teaser of the movie is already out and Rajveer is cast opposite Paloma Dhillon, the daughter of yesteryear Bollywood heroine Poonam Dhillon in the film.

Rajveer Deol Family
Rajveer was born on 12th May 1994 to Hindi film actor Sunny Deol and Pooja Deol who is a writer by profession. The actor has an elder brother Karan Deol who is also a Bollywood actor. Karan is married to Drisha Acharya, a travel management professional.
Rajveer’s grandfather Dharmendra and his uncles Bobby Deol and Abhay Deol are also renowned actors in the Hindi film industry.
Education
Rajveer did his schooling at Ecole Mondiale World School, an international school in Juhu, Mumbai. The actor also studied theatre in the United Kingdom.

Rajveer Deol Profession
Rajveer made his debut in the Hindi film industry as an Assistant director. The newcomer got trained under Feroz Abbas Khan, the Indian theatre and film director best known for directing plays such as “Mughal-e-Azam” and “Tumhari Amrita”.
In March 2021, it was announced that Rajveer will be making his acting debut in Bollywood with ace filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s home production. While revealing further details, the makers of the film also said that the coming-of-age love story will be written and directed by debutant director Avnish S Barjatya, son of Sooraj Barjatya. It would be the 59th film from Rajshri Productions.
According to director Avnish, he picked Rajveer for the lead role as he found the newcomer hardworking and has charisma about him. The debutant director also added that the more time he and Rajveer spent talking about the project, the more he began to see Rajveer as the protagonist in his movie.
During that time, the news surfaced that the role played by Rajveer was first offered to Kartik Aaryan and later to Meezaan Jafri, son of actor Jaaved Jaffrey. However, Rajveer was the lucky one to be chosen for the role.
Two years later, in 2023 July, Rajveer’s father Sunny Deol shared the first-look poster of his son’s debut film ‘Dono’. The very next day, i.e. on 25th July, the teaser of the movie was released. Rajveer is cast opposite Paloma Dhillon, the daughter of yesteryear Bollywood actress Poonam Dhillon and producer Ashok Thakeria.
In ‘Dono’s teaser, Rajveer, and Paloma are seen sitting in a picturesque beach setting. Paloma asks Rajveer why they fear rejection for which the hero asks the counter question “Are we that bad?”
The couple who attends a destination wedding of their friends is later seen introducing each other. Rajveer’s character introduces himself as Dev, a friend of the bride whereas Paloma introduces herself as Meghna, a friend of the groom. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
