There are some singers that give us goosebumps with their voices while a few old bands give pure nostalgia. One of those bands whose songs we grew up listening to is Backstreet Boys! Right from “I Want It That Way” and “Shape of My Heart” to “Quit Playing Games”, the music of Backstreet Boys still rings like a melody in our ears. If you feel the same way about this band then there is good news for you!
This iconic pop band – Backstreet Boys is coming to India after a long gap of 13 years and we can’t wait to see them perform! That’s right, Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough would be rocking the stage in Mumbai and Delhi. Here are all the details that you need for the same –
Their DNA World Tour consists of two cities in India – Delhi and Mumbai.
In Delhi, the concert would happen at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium (May 5)
In Mumbai, it would take place at the Jio World Gardens (May 4)
Live Nation has collaborated with BookMyShow; India’s biggest entertainment source provider to introduce the renowned 90’s band to the country.
When asked about the same from BookMyShow, the platform released a press statement to inform that all formalities of the registration would take place with them only. Those who wish to attend can register for the show so that as soon as the tickets are released, they can purchase them.
As for the DNA World Tour of Backstreet Boys, it started back in 2019 and is set for the next phase already. The show would kickstart from Egypt on 1st May and then move across different locations like India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Bahrain, UAE, and Israel.
This tour has been organized to celebrate the years of history that the band has. The sync between the vocals and choreography has made the entire world dance to the tunes of every song. Backstreet Boys has planned to sing their classic hits like “As Long As You Love Me” and “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”. Apart from that, the band is also planning to include songs from its latest album such as “No Place”, “Chances”, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”, and many more.
Last year, Backstreet Boys released one episode from the short docuseries to give a sneak peek to the fans regarding the making of the DNA tour. It told the fans how they are preparing for the tour.
Backstreet Boys was a vocal group formed in 1993 by Lou Pearlman. It happened in Florida and today this band is iconic for the way it touches your heart and connects at every deep emotional level. The band released its first international album in 1996 that received massive love. 13 years ago, the band came to India in 2010 and left the fans with so many memories. We can’t wait to create new stories with them!
