Avika Gor is an Indian film and television actress who majorly works in Hindi and Telugu movies and serials. In 2007, she debuted as a child artist in the television series ‘Ssshhhh…Koi Hai’.
However, Avika became a household name after playing the role of Anandi in Balika Vadhu, a soap opera aired on Colors TV. In 2013, she forayed into Telugu films by playing the lead role in Uyyala Jampala.
The actress also owns a film production company, Avika Screen Creations Private Limited. Avika has won many prestigious awards such as Rajiv Gandhi Award and SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu.

Avika Gor Family
Avika was born on 30th June 1997 to Sameer Gor & Dr. Chetna Gor. Avika’s father and mother, both are board members and directors of Avika Screen Creations Private Limited, her production company.

Relationship
Avika met Milind Chandwani for the first time in Hyderabad. Milind is an engineer by profession and is best known for participating in MTV Roadies. Milind had come to Hyderabad for setting up his NGO and Avika, for the shoot of the film ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 3’.
After meeting each other at a party in Hyderabad, they pinged each other on Instagram. Soon they became friends and with the turn of events, their friendship blossomed into love.
Though Avika and Milind have been dating each other for the last four years, they are not in a hurry to get married. The actress says that marriage can wait and for the time being they just want to enjoy every moment together.

In 2021, there were rumors doing the rounds that Avika Gor is dating Manish Raisinghan, her co-actor in the serial ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. Rumour mongers had even spread the news that she is having a secret child with the actor. In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kanan, Avika opened up about her relationship with Manish.
According to the actress, she knows him since the age of 13 and he has been the closest friend she has ever had. The actress also mentioned that they are still very close and he always has a very important space in her life.
When the rumors surfaced, Avika and Manish stopped talking to each other. However, later they decided that they could not run away from it. While speaking about Manish, Avika said that she learned so much from him and he is 18 years elder than her.
On a humorous note, the actress said that whenever someone asks her whether anything is going on between them, she replies that Manish is almost her father’s age.

After debuting in the television serial ‘Ssshhhh…Koi Hai’, Avika acted in ‘Balika Vadhu’, a soap opera aired on Colors TV. Back then she was just 9 years old. Her character, Anandi went on to become a huge hit among the audience.
Later, when she was around 14 years old, Avika portrayed the character of 20-year-old Roli in Sasural Simar Ka, another serial. During that time, the actress started getting film offers from Bollywood. However, those were not the kind of roles she wanted to be launched in the industry. Thus, Avika decided to debut in South Indian movies and then later move to Hindi.
In 2013, Avika made her acting debut in films with Uyyala Jampala. Directed by Virinchi Varma, she was cast opposite Raj Tarun in the film. Later, she went on to act in more than 15 films in various South Indian languages.
They include Cinema Choopistha Mava, Thanu Nenu, and Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada in Telugu and Care of Footpath 2 and Natasaarvabhowma in Kannada. In 2016, Avika walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.
Apart from serials and films, Avika has also been featured in a couple of music videos such as Doggy, Dil Ko Mere, and Qurbaan. In 2019, she also became a contestant in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.
Avika is all set to make her debut in Hindi films with ‘1920 Horrors Of The Heart’ directed by Krishna Bhatt. It is the fifth film of the 1920 film series and Avika is cast opposite Rahul Bhat. The actress will also be making her debut in OTT with a Telugu web series.

- Avika has a house near Gachibowli in Hyderabad. Both she and her boyfriend Milind love watching movies together. Thus every weekend, the couple goes to shopping malls in Hyderabad and watches films.
- Milind had absolutely no clue that Avika was an actress. When they met for the first time, the first question he asked was how come she reached Hyderabad.
- Avika was part of a WhatsApp group along with other actors such as Nikhil, Raj Tarun, and Sai Dharam Tej. Once, a young male actor sent her an inappropriate message and Avika shamed that person by sharing the screenshot of their chat history.
- Avika was once part of the part of Kazakh film ‘I Go To School’. The actress later said that the people of Kazakhstan are familiar with Indian actors such as Raj Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, and Mithun Chakraborty.
- At the launch event of Avika’s maiden production venture ‘Popcorn’, Telugu actor Nagarjuna was present. The actress later said that his presence was the biggest gift he could have ever given to her.
