And till September it encounters Monsoons with heavy or moderate rainfall. The most advisable time to visit is October to February when the weather is pleasant and people-friendly.

History and Architecture of Chapora Fort
As mentioned Chapora is one of the oldest forts in North Goa built in the 17th century. It was used to protect the territory from the Maratha Empire (Marathas) as it provides few from the sea and is a perfect point to plan strategic moves depending on the enemy movement in the area. Yet in 1739 the fort was captured by the Marathas and abandoned in the 19th century.
The current structure is an incomplete one due to the ruins over the decades. It has two main gates in which one of which faces the land side and the other facing the sea. Built with a blend of Portuguese and Indian culture and architecture with the use of red laterite stone the interior was divided into multiple sections with a small chapel inside dedicated to St, Anthony.

I have been browsing online greater than 3 hours these days, yet I by no means discovered any interesting article like yours. It¦s lovely value enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you did, the internet can be much more helpful than ever before.
