Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2023: Complete Winners List!

Dadasaheb Phalke Awards are one of the most prestigious awards in the Bollywood industry. They are conducted in honor of Dadasaheb Phalke, India’s first film producer who revolutionized the way Indians see art. Dhundiraj Govind Phalke was also known as the father of Indian cinema and his first movie was Raja Harishchandra with Bhalachandra D. Phalke, Anna Salunke, and D. D. Dabke.
Now remembering him, Dadasaheb Phalke Awards was introduced in 1969. For 54 years, actors and actresses that have had a major contribution to the cinema’s development and growth. Every year, awards are conducted and Bollywood actors and actresses are honored with them. Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2023 took place on 20th February in Mumbai. Alia Bhatt won the best actress and her husband won the best actor award. Rekha got the lifetime achievement award. Following is the complete list of those who won –

Most Versatile Actor: Anupam Kher (Kashmir Files)
Outstanding Contribution to The Film Industry: Rekha
Outstanding Contribution to The Music Industry: Hariharan
TV Series of the Year: Anupamaa
Best Actor in TV Series: Zain Imam (Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawaan)
Best Actress in TV Series: Tejasswi Prakash (Naagin)
Best Web Show: Rudra: The Edge of Darkness
Best Actor in Web Show: Jim Sarabh (Rocket Boys)
Best Cinematographer: PS Vinod (Vikram Vedha)
Best Male Playback Singer: Sachet Tandon (Maiyya Mainu: Jersey)
Best Female Playback Singer: Neeti Mohan (Meri Jaan: Gangubai Kathiawadi)
Those who won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023 were rewarded with Rs. 10,00,000 in cash, a shawl, and a Golden Lotus medallion.
Apart from witnessing the amazing wins, the award ceremony also saw some power-packed performances! Everyone can watch the awards on Zee5 and enjoy every moment with the stars!
Expressing the happiness of winning the prestigious award, every celebrity took to their official Twitter and Instagram accounts to share the good news. Vivek Agnihotri whose movie The Kashmir Files won the Best Film shared this amazing news on his Twitter handle. Alia Bhatt too posed for the award.
The entire Bollywood and TV industry were present at the award ceremony. Celebrities like Hariharan, Shreyas Talpade, Ronit Roy, Sahil Khan, Jayantilal Gada, Vivek Agnihotri, Varun Dhawan, Nora Fatehi, Natalia Barulich, Bobby Deol, and Raveena Tandon were there.
Dadasaheb Phalke Awards are considered of the highest regard in Indian cinema and were introduced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to honor the pioneer of this art. The first person to win this award was Devika Rani. Till now, stars from Devika to Asha Parekh, Rekha, and many more have won these awards.
