Mom-To-Be Upasana Konidela Opens Up On Pregnancy-Affecting Career

As a mom-to-be, Upasana Konidela is bravely challenging the misconception that pregnancy has a negative impact on one’s career. Upasana, who is part of the power couple in the film industry alongside her husband Ram Charan, is excitedly expecting their first child.
In a recent interview, she candidly shared her thoughts on redefining how pregnancy can be viewed in relation to one’s career. She is determined to break the stereotype and prove that being a mother can enhance, rather than hinder, her professional journey.
The popular actor Ram Charan, known for his role in the highly anticipated movie RRR and his upcoming film Game Changer, is eagerly anticipating the arrival of his first child with his wife Upasana Konidela.
The couple recently celebrated their baby shower, sharing breathtaking glimpses that sent the internet into a frenzy. With their hearts full of joy and excitement, Ram Charan and Upasana are ready to embark on a new and wonderful journey together – the joy of parenthood.
In a candid interview with a media portal, Upasana Konidela, who is currently expecting her first child, shared her thoughts on the misconception that pregnancy and motherhood cannot coexist with a successful career. Speaking to Pinkvilla, she expressed her belief that pregnancy should be celebrated, and she has been enjoying this journey to the fullest.
Despite her busy schedule of jet-setting around the world, Upasana is determined to redefine pregnancy for herself. Her doctor has given her a plan that focuses on eating nutritious food for herself, rather than eating for two so that she can maintain her fitness and still fit into her regular clothes.
She takes pride in the fact that she has not had to rely heavily on maternity clothes and feels great about it. Upasana is embracing her pregnancy as a positive and empowering experience, and she is grateful for the wonderful journey it has been so far.
For those who may not know, Ram Charan and Upasana tied the knot in a grand ceremony on June 14, 2012. The couple also planned the child, and it wasn鈥檛 just a spur of the moment- they revealed it during an interview.
After a decade of marriage, they felt that the time was right as they were both thriving in their respective careers and financially stable, capable of providing for their child without external assistance. The couple’s decision reflects their thoughtful approach to parenthood and their commitment to building a strong foundation for their growing family.
It was none other than the renowned megastar Chiranjeevi, who shared the joyous news with the world a few months back. Taking to social media, he confirmed that his son, the popular RRR star Ram Charan, and his wife, the accomplished businesswoman Upasana Konidela, are expecting their first child.
Chiranjeevi expressed his delight and gratitude, invoking the blessings of Shri Hanuman ji in his announcement. He was joined by his wife Surekha, Upasana’s parents Shobana and Anil Kamineni, in sharing the joyous news.
