Devarayanadurga Fort

By the 14th king of the Wadiya dynasty of Mysore, Chikka Devaraja Wadiya, the fort was constructed during the 17th century. On the way to this fort, there are no food stalls, so carry ample water and food.

Markonahalli Dam

Best Time To Visit Tumakuru

By Bus: As Tumkur is nearly 70 km from the city of Bangalore, it has very good bus connectivity to this location. Tumkur is also well-linked to other cities within Karnataka likewise Belgaum, Hubli, Hospet, Bijapur, and many more. Charges from Bangalore for AC buses start from nearly 600 rupees and can go up further.
