Rishi Singh, The Winner of Indian Idol 13, Receives A Cash Award Of Rs 25 Lakh And A Car

Indian Idol is one of the longest-running reality shows in India today. But season 13 took a lot of time to declare a winner. A show that usually ends within 4 months had been going on for 8 months and has finally come to an end. Indian Idol season 13 was judged by Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya, and Vishal Dadlani.
As the viewers had already predicted, the winner of Indian Idol Season 13 is Rishi Singh. This guy is young and hails from Ayodhya. He left the judges, the audience, and the viewers impressed with his singing. Winning a luxury car Brezza and a cash prize of Rs. 25 lakhs; Rishi Singh made his parents and the entire city proud!
He studies in Class 12 currently and right after his name was announced as the winner, Rishi broke down. Talking about his feelings about the victory, the Indian Idol winner said that he cannot believe he has got the trophy. The feeling cannot be compared to anything and it is simply a dream come true.
As his name was announced, Rishi felt the honor of taking ahead the legacy of this prestigious reality singing competition. He showcased his gratitude to the judges, the channel, and all the team members of Indian Idol Season 13. He thanked them for giving him this opportunity and platform. Rishi Singh also thanked his viewers and fans who voted for and supported him throughout this journey.
The first runner-up of Indian Idol 13 was Debosmita Roy who hails from Kolkata. She also took a moment to express her feelings. Debosmita has always been a favorite of the audience and said that she cannot believe she got this chance of performing on this stage.
To see everyone smile was a great achievement for her and she saw pride in her parents’ eyes. When Debosmita’s name was announced as the runner-up, she felt like the trophy was hers. She gave the entire credit of her journey to her mother and father.
The third place was occupied by Chirag Kotwal from Jammu. Both Debosmita and Chirag took home a cash prize of Rs. 5 Lakh. The third and fourth places were achieved by Bidipta Chakraborty and Shivam Singh; respectively. They were awarded Rs. 3 lakhs each.
All six finalists were given Rs. 1 Lakh each and hampers that were specially curated.
Sony Liv took this moment to congratulate the winner and tweeted about it. The channel said that Rocking Rishi has spread his magic and hasn’t only won everyone’s hearts but also the trophy of Indian Idol. He was a well-deserved contestant.
Indian Idol has been running since 2004 and has been judged by various singers, celebrities, and special guests. This year was special in a unique way since various well-known people from the industry were called. Not only them but even the oldest actors were also welcomed on the show.
