Tanvi Thakkar Family
Tanvi Thakkar’s father passed away a few months before the actress’s wedding date was fixed for 16th February 2021. Tanvi’s mother stays in Kerala. However, the names of the actress’s parents are not available in public sources.

Tanvi Thakkar Relationships
On the sets of ‘Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum’, a serial aired on Star Plus, Tanvi Thakkar met her co-actor Aaditya Kapadia for the first time. Aditya is best known for his roles in serials such as Just Mohabbat, Shaka Laka Boom Boom, and Bade Acche Lagte Hai. The actor is currently running his own business.
The couple instantly connected with each other and got engaged on December 24, 2013. After being in a relationship for a long 7 years, in September 2020, Tanvi and Aditya decided to go for a live-in relationship for 6 months and see whether they are compatible with each other. Since it worked out well, the actor couple decided to tie the knot.
Back then, Tanvi had mentioned in an interview that she wanted to keep it a low-key function due to her father’s demise that happened a few months before. On February 16th, 2021, Tanvi got married to Aditya in a simple court wedding in Bandra court. It was followed by a dinner for friends and family at a SoBo hotel.
On January 1st, 2023, Tanvi announced on Instagram that she is pregnant. Later, on 19th June 2023, she and Aditya became parents to a baby boy.

Tanvi did her schooling at The Lawrence School, Lovedale in Ooty, Tamil Nadu, and Nazareth Convent High School in Ooty. Later, she joined M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women in Tamil Nadu and completed her graduation.
In May 2016, Tanvi was felicitated by the authorities of Nazareth Convent High School. Later, the actress shared the pictures of the reunion with her school friends on Instagram. Tanvi wrote that it was an honor and privilege to go back to her roots and relive some of the best days of her childhood.

In an interview, Tanvi once opened up about the rejection she had to face at auditions due to her South Indian accent. According to the actress, she came to Mumbai with the aim of acting in television shows. Back then, while going for auditions, Tanvi did not even know how to speak Hindi.
Thus, she used to pronounce words with a different accent. There were several instances when the actress was sent back without even auditioning as the makers of the serials were not happy with the way she spoke. Later, Tanvi watched a lot of Bollywood movies in order to get her accent right.

Tanvi made her debut in acting with 2008 serial ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’. The show was aired on Star One and she played the character of Ishika. It was followed by ‘Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna’, a serial telecast on Star Plus in the same year.
Later, Tanvi went on to act in several serials including Palampur Express as Lavanya Singh, Yeh Ishq Haaye as Priyanka, Sarvggun Sampanna as Deepti, and Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani as Maya.
The turning point in Tanvi’s career was acting in the serial ‘Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant’ which aired on the channel Life OK in February 2016. The character of Sharmila Dhyaan Kant portrayed by her won the hearts of the television-watching audience.
Soon Tanvi Thakkar became a household name. It was followed by the serial ‘TV, Biwi aur Main’ aired in 2017, and the role of Bindiya Bhansali helped Tanvi gain immense popularity.

- Aditya made his debut as a child artist in Bollywood with the 1999 action film Jaanwar. He played the role of Raju, the son of characters played by Monish Behl and Shilpa Shetty. However, Aditya failed to make a mark in films and thus turned to television serials later.
