Time’s 100 Most Influential Personalities Include Shah Rukh Khan and SS Rajamouli
Every year, Time Magazine releases a list of the most influential personalities in the world. This list of 100 people includes celebrities, icons, artists, leaders, pioneers, and innovators. Making India proud, many Indian people have made it to the list and two of them are filmmaker SS Rajamouli and actor Shah Rukh Khan.
It is no surprise that these talented personalities. Apart from them, the list also has Salman Rushdie, a famous author, and Padma Lakshmi, a well-known TV judge, and host.
Following the rituals, the profiles were penned down by Bollywood celebrities. Deepika Padukone got the owner to write Shah Rukh Khan’s profile. She wrote that Shah Rukh Kahn would always be remembered as one of the greatest actors.
Talking about him, Deepika said that she has known her for a long time and cares about him a lot. That’s why if she wants to talk about the person in 150 words then it won’t be justified. He is simply phenomenal. What sets Shah Rukh Khan apart is his generosity and chivalry. This list will continue.
Talking about the first time Deepika met Shah Rukh, she said that it is a moment that cannot be forgotten easily. She came to Mumbai and had a single dream and a suitcase with her. It feels like the next moment she remembers sitting at SRK’s home and discussing a film for which she was being considered.
The profile of SS Rajamouli was written by Alia Bhatt as the two have worked together in RRR. She wrote that they met at the Baahubali 2 screening and seeing SS Rajamouli, she was starstruck. While watching the film created by this director, Alia Bhatt said that this is nothing less than a dream coming true. Talking about him further, the RRR actress said that working with him feels like coming back to school.
He always knows the kind of material he wants to serve the audience and understands what kind of turns the movie has to take. Alia Bhatt called SS Rajamouli a storyteller as he is always in love with the stories. Since the country is a place with varied tastes, cultures, and demographic. He understands this completely and has the knack for uniting the artists through the movie.
Apart from being enlisted in Time’s 100 influential personalities, the King Khan of Bollywood also bagged the title of Time100 reader poll for this year. This is where the readers have to vote for those people who are the most deserving to be on the annual list of Time.
Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Pathaan; a movie that has left quite an impression on the audience. His movie crossed a mark of Rs 543.09 domestically and Rs 392.55 crore internationally; leading to a total of Rs 1,050.05 crore.
Along with the best Indian personalities, the Times’ 100 list also includes Elon Musk; the billionaire CEO; Bella Hadid, Joe Biden, Sara Mardini, King Charles, Yusra Mardini, and Beyonce.
