Yami Gautam Describes Her Bond with The Great Actress Kangana Ranaut

Yami Gautam is without a doubt, one of the finest and most beautiful actresses of this generation. Apart from her bubbly looks and naturally gorgeous smile, the actress has also killed the screen with some commendable performances.

In one of her recent interviews, Yami got candid and talked about the way she shares a special bond with Kangana Ranaut; an actress known for her bold and unafraid personality. Here are all the details about the interview.

Yami Gautam entered Bollywood with “Vicky Donor”. Before that, she was working in the TV industry. Her second movie was “Total Siyapaa” where she played the role of an NRI who is ready to introduce her family to her boyfriend (played by Ali Zafar). The movie hit theatres on 7th March 2014 and it coincided with Kangana Ranaut’s Queen.

There was a long war going on between the movies for theatre time but Yami Gautam recommended to her mother that she should watch Kangana’s Queen instead of Total Siyapaa. This happened because Yami was clearly not satisfied with how the movie worked and she heard from people that Queen was an amazing movie. On the same day, a Hollywood movie was also released – 300: Rise of an Empire.

Talking about the bond she shares with Kangana Ranaut, Yami said that if you receive love and respect from someone then it should always be given back. She called Kangana one of the best actresses Bollywood has and a fantastic performer. Yami Gautam also added that Kangana even called her to her home in Manali when she was shooting for her movie there.

She also said that the fact that both come from the same place has an impact on the bond. Yami confessed that she always admires the way Kangana works and the fact that she wished her beautifully for her wedding.

Yami Gautam and Kangana Ranaut share a great bond as they keep on praising each other on social media platforms as well. Both of them are from Himachal Pradesh.

When Yami got married to Aditya Dhar, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media and shared the bride’s picture. She wrote a beautiful caption saying that it is a divine feeling to see a raw Himachal girl turning into a bride.

While talking about this incident, Yami Gautam said that shared the experience of her movie release. She talked about how the movie competed at the box office with the Hollywood movie Queen. Yami also informed me that while the marketing discussions for her movie Total Siyappa were going on, her team was extremely happy that it was getting more screens.

She had no idea about the business aspect of the movie so while the rest of the team was busy calculating the box office numbers, Yami stayed quiet. Although she had quite a positive experience while shooting this movie, she wasn’t happy with how the end product came in.

On the work front, Yami is taking the nation by storm in her impactful roles.
