Kondaveedu

Kondaveedu is one of the most famous tourist places in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. This place was constructed in the 13th century by Prolaya Vema Reddi and can be explored fully in an hour. It also has an ancient fort named Kondaveedu Fort which was built by Reddy Kings comprising 21 magnificent structures.

Kotappakonda Trikutaparvattam

Kotappakonda Trikutaparvattam is a Hindu shrine situated on the sacred hills of Trikutapatvattam. This place is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Hindu trinity, Brahma—the Creator; Vishnu—the Preserver; and Maheshwara—the Transformer and Destroyer—is said to be honored on these three hills.

Manglagiri is the most visited place for the old Vaishnavite temples between Guntur and Vijayawada. The name ‘Mangalgiri’ is a very spiritual and auspicious hill. This place is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is famous as Narasimha Swamy Temple, the Panakala, and the Gandala Narasimha Swamy Temple.

Nagarjuna Sagar Dam And Ethipothala Falls

Being one of the most popular dams in India, the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam and Ethipothala Falls are both located across the Krishna River in the Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh. Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is coined as the world’s largest masonry dam.

Bhattiprolu

Bhattiprolu, popularly known for its Buddhist Stupa by the Buddhist is a small village in the Guntur district. This place is now a secured and protected monument of historical importance and national significance.

Best Time To Visit Guntur

Guntur must be visited during the Winter season. So, the best time to visit this beautiful gem of Andhra Pradesh i.e., Guntur should be visited between the months of October to March as the weather is pleasant during this time making travel easy and comfortable.
