Aashika Bhatia is an Indian film and television actress and social media influencer. An internet sensation, she works primarily in Hindi serials and films. Aashika made her acting debut by playing the character of young Meera in the 2009 television series ‘Meera’.

Later, she went on to act in serials such as Parvarrish, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, and Hum Tum and Them. In 2015, Aashika forayed into Bollywood with ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, a film starring Salman Khan.

The actress has a massive fan following on social media platforms with 5.7 million followers on Instagram and 2.66 lakh subscribers on YouTube.

Aashika Bhatia Family

Aashika was born on December 15th, 1999. Her father Rakesh Bhatia works as an agent in the clothes market and her mother Meenu Bhatia runs a beauty parlor. After several years of marital life, Aashika’s parents parted ways. The actress also has a younger brother, Dev Bhatia.

Initially, Aashika was in a relationship with Manjul Khattar, a Tiktok star. However, after dating for a short period, the couple parted ways. Later, in 2019, the actress fell in love with Satvik Sankhyan, an internet sensation.

During that time, Aashika also shared photos of her and Satvik on Instagram. Later, after parting pays with Satvik, the actress started dating Roshan Gupta. However, the couple had a breakup in 2021.

Aashika completed her school education at Ryan International School in Mumbai. Reportedly, the actress cleared her 11th-class exams.

After her breakup with her boyfriend Roshan Gupta, Aashika posted videos with other boys. Following her post, the actress was trolled on social media for changing boyfriends often. Soon, the actress lashed out at the trollers by posting a video.

Aashika said in her video that she just doesn’t understand those people who accuse her of changing boyfriends frequently. She also said that if one goes shopping and doesn’t like a dress, they leave it there.

Aashika posed the counter question that does such a move means that one has betrayed the dress. The actress also pleaded with the trollers to stop commenting on her love life as she and Roshan continue to be good friends.

In 2009, Ashika made her debut as a child artist in ‘Meera’, a television series broadcast on NDTV Imagine. She played the character of young Meera in the series. It was followed by the serial ‘Parvarrish’ in 2011. Aashika was seen in the role of Gunwant “Ginni” Kaur Ahluwalia, the daughter of  Sweety and Lucky in the series. 

In 2015, Ashika got a major break in her career. She was cast in the Hindi film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya. Aashika played the character of Rajkumari Radhika and was cast alongside leading actors such as Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the film.

In 2016, Aashika was back on television with the series ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ which aired on Sony Entertainment Television. She portrayed the character of Nikki Dixit in the series. It was followed by the series ‘Hum Tum and Them’ in which Aashika played the character of Vyoma.

Rumors are rife that Aashika is all set to make her wild card entry in the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2. It was following the actress’s cryptic Instagram post on 12th July 2023. Aashika, in her post, mentioned that life will soon change big time and she will be away from social media for some time.

  • Aashika was once body shamed by trollers for being overweight. However, the actress later had an amazing transformation and shed weight drastically.
  • In July 2015, a family court in Surat ordered Aashika’s father Rakesh Bhatia to pay a sum of Rs 12,000 per month to the actress, or Rs 19.36 lakh till the court proceeding ended. However, later in August, Gujarat high court stayed the payment to Aashika on the grounds that the actress is making good money through acting.
  • When asked about her 2 am meal in an interview, the actress said it was Maggy noodles.
