Harshvardhan Rane made his entry into the Hindi film industry with ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ released in 2016. For his debut Hindi film, Rane was nominated for the Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Male.

Harshvardhan Rane Family
Rane was born on December 16th, 1983. His father Vivek Rane is a Maharashtrian and a doctor by profession. The actor’s mother Swarnarekha Rao is a Telugite and a homemaker. Rane also has a younger sister, Rohini.
Relationships
During his struggling days, Rane met Minnakshi Das and they started dating each other. In 2006, when the actor decided to move to Mumbai, she also moved along with him. However, after a few years of relationship, Rane and Meenakshi had a breakup.
Later, in December 2018, Rane confirmed that he was in a relationship with Bollywood actress Kim Sharma. After a year of dating each other, the couple parted ways.

In July 2023, news surfaced that Rane is in a relationship with Sanjeeda Sheikh, a television actress. On their social media profiles, both the actors were seen holidaying in Gir forests at the same time. It sparked rumors that the couple was dating each other. Sanjeeda is a divorcee who was earlier married to Aamir Ali, an actor and a model.

In 2008, Rane made his acting debut by portraying the role of Cadet Rummy Gaur in ‘Left Right Left’, a Hindi television series. It was followed by ‘Thakita Thakita’, his first Telugu movie in 2010 where he was cast opposite Haripriya. Later, in 2012, Rane appeared in two films, ‘Naa Ishtam’ alongside Genelia D’Souza and ‘Avunu’ opposite Poorna. The following year, he was seen in ‘Prema Ishq Kaadhal’ in which he played the character of a musician.
In 2014, four films of Rane were released. The first was ‘Anaamika’ opposite Nayanthara followed by ‘Maaya’ in which Avantika Mishra played the heroine role. The other two were ‘Geethanjali’ directed by debutant Raj Kiran and ‘Brother of Bommali’ in which Rane played a cameo role. The other notable Telugu films from the actor are Avunu 2 and Bengal Tiger.
Rane kickstarted his acting career in Bollywood with the 2016 movie ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’. He was cast opposite Pakistan heroine Mawra Hocane in the film. Later he appeared in several other Hindi films such as ‘Paltan’ directed by JP Dutta, and Bejoy Nambiar’s film ‘Taish’ in which he was cast opposite Sanjeeda Sheikh.
The other Hindi films from Rane include ‘Haseen Dillruba’, a Netflix release, and Tara Vs Bilal, a film directed by Samar Iqbal. Kun Faya Kun, Miranda Boys, and Dange are some of the upcoming films from the actor.
