Aditya’s daughter Sana studied films & acting in Los Angeles, USA and she always wanted to make a mark in Bollywood like the other family members of hers. Though filmmaker Suneel Darshan cast her for a movie titled ‘Shakalaka Boom Boom’ in 2006 opposite Uen Patel, things didn’t work out and Sana was replaced later by Kangana Ranaut.

Aditya once revealed in an interview that when he met Kangana Ranaut for the first time, she didn’t have a penny. The actor also said that she was on the road and was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
