Asha Negi Family
Asha was born on 23 August 1989 to L.S. Negi and Beena Negi. The actress also has two sisters.
Asha Negi Relationships
In 2013, Asha started dating Rithvik Dhanjani, her co-star in the serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’. The star couple also participated in the dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 6’, and emerged winners. Finally, after dating each other for 6 years, Asha and Rithvik had a breakup in early 2020.

The actress did her schooling at St.Mary’s Higher Secondary School in Dehradun. Later, she joined D.A.V. College, Dehradun, and completed her bachelor’s degree in commerce.

In August 2020, Asha shared a photo on Instagram where she is seen posing in front of an old house with wrinkled walls. A netizen by the name of Sheeba Prabhudas commented on the actress’s photo and wrote that she has become old. Sheeba also suggested that Asha get married and took a dig by saying that the wall looks younger than her.
However, the actress later posted a screenshot of Sheeba’s comment and replied that her humor was on point and gave 100 points for that comment. Asha also gave a befitting reply by asking what to do with her thoughts.

When she was in college, Asha once happened to see the pamphlet of Miss Uttarakhand 2009 fashion pageant. She participated in the competition and emerged as the title winner. During her modeling days, Asha appeared in advertisements for various brands and also became part of several photoshoots.
In 2010, Asha auditioned for ‘Sapnon Se Bhare Naina’ a serial aired on Star Plus channel. She won the test and went on to act in her debut serial. Asha portrayed the role of Madhura in the show. The following year, the actress appeared in ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’, a serial by Balaji Telefilms. Asha played the role of Apeksha Malhotra, a negative character.
The turning point in Asha’s career was acting in the 2011 serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’, telecast on Zee TV. The character of Purvi Deshmukh played by her was accepted wholeheartedly by the television-watching audience.
For her performance, Asha went on to win the ‘Stellar Performer of the Year award’ in Gold Awards and was also awarded the popular favorite Jodi at the Zee Rishtey Awards along with her co-star Rithvik. The actress later went on to appear in many daily soaps such as Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, Kumkum Bhagya, and Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan.
In November 2013, Asha joined as a contestant in the dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye Season Six’. She, along with her partner Dhanjani went on to win the competition. Asha also participated in the reality show ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi’, in 2015 and managed to reach the finals.
In 2019, Asha made her entry into the world of web series with Baarish (season 1). It was followed by Love Ka Panga, Abhay (season 2), Baarish (season 2), Khwabon Ke Parindey, and Abhay (season 3). Asha appeared in films for the first time with the 2020 film ‘Ludo’, directed by Anurag Basu. She also acted in the 2021 movie Collar Bomb.
