From the city centre of Kozhikode, you need to again travel a distance of around 48 km by road in order to finally reach the destination of Kakkadampoyil.
You can also travel from the city of Nilambur located in the neighbouring district of Malappuram if that is a more convenient and close location for you. Thiruvambady is again a nearby town and from there, it may take you a distance of around 19 km to reach the location.
Kakkadampoyil hill station falls in the local governing body of Koodaranhi Panchayat in the district of Kozhikode. From the centre of Koodaranhi town, you can easily get into the location with a distance of just 15 km.
Once you reach the town of Koodaranhi you can easily board any of the jeeps that will take you to the exact location of Kakkadampoyil.
