At a distance of 8 km south of Jawhar town, the appealing Kalmandvi Waterfall deceits. Kalmandavi is located at a remote location in the deep valley of Shivajinagar, Jawhar. If you are an adventure lover then this place is ideal for you as it is a famous adventurous waterfall.

Nearly 8 km south of Jawhar town, the astonishing Kalmandvi Waterfall lies. It is a fascinating cascading 100-meter-deep waterfall. 

Climatic Condition

Jawher is a beautiful city in the Konkan division of India. In the region, the popular weather is rainfall, the Konkan belt witnesses extreme rainfall and the climate remains warm and humid. Throughout this season, the temperature rises up to 30 degrees Celsius.

Across the region, summers are humid and extremely hot, and the temperature rises to 40 degrees Celsius. Winters have a moderately milder climate nearly 28 degrees Celsius, and the weather remains dry and cool. 

Best Time To Visit Kalmandavi Waterfall

Early June upon 1st week of rain or late monsoon after October owing to the flow and perils being too extreme throughout monsoon days i.e., from July to September. 

How To Reach Kalmandavi Waterfall? 

By Air: The closest airport to Jawhar is Nasik airport, nearly 80 km. From here, the Mumbai International Airport is 100 km. From both airports, you can conveniently find a taxi to arrive at Jawhar.

By Train: Igatpuri railway station in Nasik is the closest railway station to Jawhar. It is at a distance of nearly 60 km and it takes approximately 2 hours to arrive at Jawhar. From the station, there are 24X7 taxi amenities to arrive at Jawhar.

By Road: Travelling by road is the calmest and most contented option. You will find a lot of taxi amenities on this way. You can conveniently rent a taxi/cab from close cities such as Mumbai and Thane to arrive at Jawhar.

Food And Accommodation

If you want to make your stay close to this fascinating waterfall then there are different choices nearby to the waterfall you can select from them. In addition, near the waterfall, you will surely find different eateries which provide very good food at an economical price.

The Shirpamal is a prevalent structure that is situated on the top of a hill. This structure is 3 centuries old, hence, of the great emperor of the Martha Kingdome, Chhatrapati Shivaji. The place also carries an all-encompassing view of the city and is used to keep an eye on the enemies throughout wars.
