Kerala’s Tourism Minister Revealed The Most-visited Places In 2022

There’s nothing more interesting than visiting attractive places- and one such attractive place is Kerala. The beauty speaks for itself, and you can explore so many of the tourism activities that have recently skyrocketed in the state.
If you have been to Kerala, you’ll know what we are talking about- the pretty state is filled with natural beauty and now the minister of tourism, PA Muhammad Riyas has released 1.88 crore domestic tourists that visited the same in the year 2022- after all this state is also called God’s own country and many of the people visit the beautiful place every now and then.
Here, Kerala witnessed a surge of about 2.63% where the tourists’ footfall was given last year but not this time.
There were approximately 1.88 crores of domestic tourists who visited Kerala last year and also got tourism back to the state. The pandemic was bad and affected all tourism around the world. People used to visit around 1,83 crores and now it was shifted to 1,88 growth giving a 2.63% increase!

Tourists love exploring new places and some of them include Alappuzha, Idukki, Malappuram, Wayanad, Thiruvananthapuram, and Pathanamthitta. If you have been to these districts you’ll know what we are talking about- and the minister also confirmed Kerala is a popular wedding destination for people.

Those who have a beach vibe mixed with nature, majorly come here to have a destination wedding. Kerala is one such state where people love spending their honeymoons and now it has also become a wedding venue! Post the pandemic many people experienced the destination wedding in Kerala.
The tourism industry cannot deny the effect of destination weddings, especially after the Covid-19 world pandemic. One such state that got benefits from the same is Kerala. You might have seen wedding staff and other organizers coming from far-off places just to attend and make the weddings happen. This also hyped tourism, where the groom and bride traveled with their relatives and friends.
There were further speculations that also made an analysis of how countries who are interested in Ayurvedic remedies come here for the cure. They love being here, getting treated, and exploring the world of Ayurveda like never before.
