Luv Ranjan Mentions Ranbir Kapoor and Says He Hasn’t Collected His Money For Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar

Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar is making news continuously around B-town and we all know how excitingly the cast promoted their film this time. Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have come forward for several interviews and talked about everything from the movie to their personal life and how the shape of Bollywood is continuously changing.

Recently, Luv Ranjan also came forward and talked about Ranbir Kapoor. He mentioned that the actor hasn’t taken any money for the money. While talking to a popular news channel regarding the same, Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar’s director said that the actor has put all his skin into this game.

He also said that Ranbir Kapoor hasn’t failed him for four years and he is still not ready to take the money. There comes a point in someone’s life when you have to confess to the other person that “I need this thing”. So, for the last four years, Ranbir Kapoor has proven his dedication.

When Ranbir Kapoor talked about the movie during an interview, he said that he has immense respect for Luv Ranjan as he has put everything he has into this movie. Sharing some aspects of his life, Ranbir said that he has heard stories about the way his grandfather used to make movies. He mortgaged his wife’s jewelry and the house and used that money to create the film.

The rom-com actor also said that the level of madness that some people show to make a movie as they put their skin in it is a matter of respect. Making the movie would be fun because a person has put his whole life on the line for it and although it may sound insane, that kind of determination is worth a lot of respect.

Although Luv Ranjan sounded pretty confident that Ranbir Kapoor didn’t take any money, netizens are still not sure about it. A lot of users have taken to social media to ask the fact that if the actor hasn’t taken the money, how has the budget increased tremendously. The users also asked if Shraddha has taken so much or other actors. This is still a controversial debate that might not see an end soon.

As for the movie at the box office, Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar started with a huge bang and earned approximately Rs. 76.29 crores in its first week. There was a significant rise for it on the weekend but as the next week started, the movie saw a huge dip in theatre occupancy. There is still a lot of time left for Tu JHoothi Mai Makkar to perform and we would have to see whether it ends on a sour note or with a happy goodbye!

Ranbir Kapoor’s last theatrical hit was Brahamastra but after that, his Shershaah also flopped at the box office. It is yet to see whether the romantic actor can revive his streak with this film.
