Prithviraj Sukumaran’s OTT Debut With Rajan Pillai’s Biopic “Biscuit Barron”

The lines between Bollywood and other regional levels of movies are blurring and that is something priceless to watch. Today if a script is good then Bollywood actors won’t shy away from acting in south Indian movies and vice-versa.
Carrying the same stream forward in full force is the multitalented Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran who has slowly become one of the amazing pan-Indian actors today. Currently, he is busy working on different movie projects for Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam languages and seems to be occupied for a quite long time.
That’s not all, he has also completed the first shooting schedule for the upcoming Hindi movie “Bade Miya Chote Miya”. We are excited to watch him share the screen with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. That’s not all that is keeping him busy.
Prithviraj Sukumaran is also going back to shoot for the pan-Indian movie – Salaar which stars Prabhas as well. He is also occupied as he wants to search for a shoot location for his directorial project “L2 Empuraan”.
Amidst all these projects, Prithviraj Sukumaran is finally ready to make his OTT debut with the biopic “Biscuit Barron” a story about Rajan Pillai. Previously, sources informed that Prithviraj would be making his OTT debut with a web series under the Saregama banner and that it would be a biopic of Rajan Pillai.
But it was all a mere speculation and now Saregama has officially confirmed that this project is happening after all. According to the production house, the script and research work are all under process and the project is quite ambitious for everyone.
There are a few updates regarding the project. The work would only commence once Prithviraj is entirely free from his prior work commitments. This indicates that the project might begin by mid of 2024. You can expect more updates about the project soon.
On the current work front, the popular Malayalam actor is going to make a comeback after working on three Hindi projects. He has already starred in Naam Shabana, Aurangzeb, and Aiyyaa. Now he is all set to act as an antagonist Kabir in the movie Bade Miyan Chote Miya and we can’t wait to see the action performance between the actors. If the sources are true, Prithviraj also looks forward to working with Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan’s kid Ibrahim Ali Khan. It would be a psychological drama.
In his own industry, Prithviraj has worked in some notable movies like Driving License, Bro Daddy, Lucifer, Kaduva, Kaapa, AK Ayyappanum Koshiyum, and more. He is known as one of the finest actors of the generation that puts fire on the silver screen.
Rajan Pillai would be an exciting project since it is based on the biscuit barron of India and how he spent his last years in Jail. His death led to reforms in the jail rules. Those who don’t know more about this businessman would learn a lot from the web series.
