Rishi Singh started his career singing devotional songs in the nearby Gurdwara ( a place of worship for Sikhs). In June 2019, he performed in the music concert of the year at the Ram Katha Museum in Ayodhya.

Without any proper training, He made his singing debut in the music reality show, Indian Idol 13, judged by musical experts like Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar, and Himesh Reshammiya. In the audition, Rishi performs Kabir Singh’s song “Pehla Pehla Pyar,” receiving an outstanding ovation.

Along with a golden mic. When asked about his most memorable and favorite moment on the Indian Idol journey, Rishi Singh said, “For me, the ‘Dream Debut’ will always be the most memorable experience, and seeing the grandness was overwhelming.

I worked so hard to make my near and dear ones proud and to have reached this extent. I even performed the song ‘Kaise Hua’ before Arman Malik, the original singer of the song. But the best moment was when he performed it with me on stage.

I always thought that sharing the stage with him and having the moment earlier than expected was too magical. It simply felt like all of my dreams were coming true. In the same year of his debut, Rishi Singh made a brief appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, podcasted on Sony TV.

Apparently, Rishi Singh learned classics for three years from Satyaprakash in Naka before coming into the spotlight. In the last few years, He has lent his voice to a number of music videos including Asoomiyan (2021), Hum Jee Lenge (2021), and Ilteja Meri (2022) which is available exclusively on YouTube. Apart from that, the icon has given his adorable voice to Bollywood music covers like Phir Mohabbat (2020), Aaj Bhi (2020), and Labon Ko (2021).

Budding star, Rishi Singh, 19, was born in a common middle-class family in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh to father Rajendra Singh and mother Anjali Singh. Since childhood, Rishi was much interested in singing, however, his father initially opposed it.

In a recent interview, Rishi Singh revealed that both of his parents wanted him to pursue higher education rather than make a career in singing. However, today “Rishi Singh” is  an inspiration for many as he is one of the living examples of the saying, “Everything is possible if you believe.”
