Sanju Samson is an Indian cricketer, who represents the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. He bats right-handed and is identified as one of the finest wicketkeepers in India. He belongs to Kerala and made his first-class debut against Vidarbha at the age of 17 years. Sanju is the youngest batsman to score 1,000 runs in the IPL and the youngest cricketer to captain a Ranji Trophy side.

In addition, during the 2012 season, he was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders players’ pool but did not play a single match. In 2013, he was contracted by Rajasthan Royals and made his debut after wicket-keeper Dishant Yagnik botched recovery from an injury. In the same IPL season, Sanju won the best young player award.

He was also selected for the T20I series of the India tour of New Zealand and was part of the playing 11 as an opener. Though Sanju couldn’t generate the desired impact with the bat, his acrobatic catch in the deep made individuals took note of his fielding prowess.

The wedding reception took place across Nalanchira on the same day with the only noteworthy cricketer to attend being Sanju’s former coach and mentor, Rahul Dravid.
