Shikha Singh Shah is an Indian television actress who majorly works in Hindi serials. She made her acting debut by portraying the role of Cadet Aakriti Bhat in ‘Left Right Left’, a series aired on SAB TV.
Later, Shikha became a household name after playing the character of Alia Mehra in ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, a Balaji telefilm series that premiered on Zee TV. The actress is quite popular on social media with a massive 1 million followers on Instagram and 4.48 lakh subscribers on YouTube.

Family
Shikha was born on 7 February 1986. The name of her parents is not available in public sources. Shikha has two sisters and one brother and all of them are married.
Relationships
Shikha was in a relationship with Karan Shah, an airline pilot. After dating for a long time, the couple got married on 1st May 2016. In June 2020, Shikha gave birth to a baby girl, Alayna Singh Shah.

Education
After completing her school education, Shikha enrolled at Punjab University to pursue her college studies. Eventually, she completed her degree in Economics from Punjab University.
Controversies
In March 2023, Shikha opened up about her health issues on her Instagram account. According to the actress, she has not been feeling well for some time.
Subsequently, in an interview, Shikha revealed that she has been going through a tough phase for the last two months. Apparently, she has been in bed most of the time unable to do anything. Shikha went on to say that two months back she developed a skin allergy and was diagnosed with an auto-immune condition following which the doctor put her on medication. However, within a couple of days, the actress started getting a lot of acid reflux. Thus, the doctors advised her to undergo a further round of tests, but they could not diagnose anything and Shikha was told that there is nothing wrong. However, the actress was not able to eat anything else except khichdi or light food.
In the month of February, she felt slightly better and on Feb 7th, her birthday she went on a trip to Nairobi. Unfortunately, she felt sick there and was admitted to the hospital there.
Shikha says that her health issues have affected her mental state. She also added that she is feeling helpless as the doctors are not able to find out the exact reason behind acid reflux and also why she is not able to eat normal food.
Profession
After kickstarting her career in ‘Left Right Left’, Shikha went on to act in Zee TV’s Meri Doli Tere Angana and Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan. In 2010, the actress made an appearance in ‘Na Aana Is Des Laado’, Colors TV’s social drama by playing the character of Amba Sangwan.
Shikha’s other major roles include Shahana Malik in 26/12, Meghna Singhania in Sasural Simar Ka, and Shikhandi in Mahabharat, the epical TV series, and Riddhi Sharma in Colors TV’s Naagin 6.
Apart from acting in Hindi serials, her other projects include portraying her own character in Sony Entertainment Television’s Jubilee Comedy Circus, and anchoring Gold Safe, the channel-exchanging series. Shikha also made appearances in Comedy Nights Bachao in 2015 & 2016.

Later, while speaking in an interview she said that apart from hitting the gym and working out, she used to play badminton for an hour or two daily and also followed a qualified nutritional diet.
- The actress has a pet dog named Goku and it belongs to the breed Labrador.
- Shikha and her husband went on a trip to the Maldives in February 2020. They both of them decided that if they were having a daughter, they would name her Alayna Singh Shah. Post that, throughout the pregnancy period, the couple used to call their baby by the name ‘Al’.”
- As per the actress, after she fell sick, her daughter comes to her every day and enquires what happened to her.
- While commenting on the incident of her being replaced by actress Reyhna Pandit in the TV show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, Shikha said that she did not quit the serial. However, she went on to say that it is unfair to expect the production house to wait till she comes back after her maternity break.
