Nora Fatehi Lights Up The Stage At The World Cup 2022 Final
The Moroccan actress and dancer, Nora Fatehi, better known for her significant contributions to the Indian film industry flabbergasted the 2022 FIFA World Cup attendees, who received a warm performance from the belly dancer.
She lit up the sky with her astounding rendition of the World Cup song entitled Light The Sky at Qatar’s massive and beautiful Lusail Stadium. She offered her performance on the World Cup hymn during the closing ceremony. But, Nora had earlier mentioned her happiness of hearing her voice playing in the background of the stadium. She penned on her Instagram that it was an emotional moment and further added her journey was so worth it and it felt surreal. “I have always been a dreamer who wanted to make her dreams come alive and I have always dreamed of moments like this.”
It was apparently a proud moment for a regular Shmegular girl, who rose to prominence after her consistent efforts.
The amazing dancer wore an all-black ensemble with a bunch of frills and topped it with long stockings and black heels. She truly perplexed the audience by singing and dancing along with backing dancers, who wore white attires.
Many clips of the video have been gaining traction from the public as they went viral since last night. While her fans are proud of her achievement, many have begun to admire the beauty queen. Minutes before her performance, she uploaded a picture on Instagram, teasing about her outfit, and she further captioned it as “FIFA closing ceremony.”
In one of her trending videos, a fan commented, “Nora Fatehi was a true pleasure to watch at the closing ceremony of FIFA and another said that she stole the show in the closing hours of the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Another one chimed in and said both Nora Fatehi and Deepika Padukone were the “Jaan”(life) of the closing ceremony.
This is not the first time that she is delivering an electric performance, as the diva earlier came up with one on December 1, at the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha. There, she danced for her iconic dance numbers including Dilbar and Saki Saki.
By the end of the performance, Nora confidently waved the Indian flag and said, Jai Hind. But unfortunately, the diva held the flag upside down and was heavily trolled by the netizens and criticized by the public.
However, Nora is currently preparing to appear in the forthcoming comedy film titled 100%, along with John Abraham, Shehnaaz Gill, and Riteish Deshmukh. The film will also mark the comeback of director Sajid Khan, who went on an extended hiatus of 9 years after the release of Humshakals in 2014.
