By Train: There is no railway station of its own. The closest railway station is the Chamarajanagar Station; situated at a distance of nearly 40 km. Taxis and bus services are accessible from outside the railway station. The closest major railway station is however the Mysore Junction, situated at a distance of nearly 66 km from BR Hills.

By Bus: State-run buses by KSRTC, as well as those owned by private works, are also accessible that link the place to foremost cities such as Bangalore and also to other places such as Chamarajnagar, Kanakapura, Kollegal, and different other close by places.
