Soochipara Falls is one of the major tourist spots you can visit while travelling to the southern side of the territory of India. This particular waterfall belongs to the state of Kerala in its northern district of Wayanad. There are a total of three tiers for this waterfall.

Location
The location of this waterfall is noteworthy since it is located in one of the major hill station districts in the territory of Kerala. Since the district of Wayanad is visited by most of the tourists visiting the state of Kerala, Soochipara Waterfalls can be included easily in their itinerary.
Meppadi is the nearest town you can reach from the destination of this particular waterfall. You can get into the location with just a drive of around 15-20 minutes. The exact geographical location of the waterfall comes in a place called Vellarimala nearby the town of Meppadi.
Soon after the motorable road ends, you may need to walk some distance to reach the waterfall location.
This may take you a duration of around 10-15 minutes. Walking this distance can be quite exciting since you would be able to spot a lot of different varieties of species on the way. You would also be able to enjoy the wilderness and its mystic beauty throughout.

Since the waterfalls are located in the hill station location of Wayanad, throughout the year the climate is seen as quite pleasant and cool. Trekking

Chembra Peak

Varambetta Mosque
This is one of the pilgrim destinations for Muslims nearby the location of the waterfall. It is worth visiting on account of its ancientness and heritage. According to the records, the mosque is around 300 years old.
Kanthanpara Waterfalls
Another waterfall nearby, for those waterfalls lovers. It would also be a great destination to enjoy family picnics. The scenic visuals around are also noteworthy.
Vaduvanchal
This is a picturesque hill station town on the Ooty road. You can visit the tea, coffee and rubber plantations found there. Beautiful sunrises are also a peculiarity of the town.

This is a Jain pilgrim destination nearby. Puliyarmala is the exact location of the same. The main deity is the 14th Tirthankara.
Neelimala Viewpoint
This is a breathtaking viewpoint to visit if you are visiting Soochipara Falls. You can board jeeps to take you to the viewpoint. It would only cost around 500 INR for a group of 6-7 people.
Things To Remember While Visiting Soochipara Falls
Make sure you carry your own food while travelling to the location but not littering the place. Also, be cautious of slippery surfaces while trekking and also taking a bath in the base pool.
