Abhishek Pathak Family
Abhishek Pathak was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra on 1 July 1987 to his parents. His family belongs to Mumbai only. He spent his childhood and teenage in Mumbai and New York. The famous producer named Kumar Mangat Pathak is his father.
Pathak’s mother’s name is Neelam Pathak. Abhishek also has a sibling with whom he spent his childhood playing and fighting. His sister’s name is Anamika Pathak, she has excelled in her career as a photographer.
He lives with his family in Mumbai. His religious views are somewhat different from his family’s as he is against religion as he believes that it teaches us to be satisfied and live without understanding anything.

There are as such no reports regarding Abhishek Pathak’s past affairs. He is a one-woman man and a beautiful soul. He was considered to be in an affair with the Khuda Hafiz actress Shivaleeka Oberoi which he proved to be true as they both are engaged as of 2023.
Abhishek Pathak and his fiancée Shivaleeka Oberoi got engaged last year on 24 July 2022. They went on a vacation in Cappadocia, Turkey where Abhishek proposed Shivaleeka. They are going to get married very soon but the date is not confirmed.
Abhishek Pathak did his schooling in Mumbai, Maharashtra at Vrajlal Parekh Vidyanidhi High School and Junior College. After completing his schooling years, he enrolled in Mithibai College, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
As his father is a producer, he adores him and his work since childhood. So, he was also passionate about films from childhood and wanted to pursue his career in this direction only.
After his graduation, he decided to follow his passion for which he went to New York, United States of America where he did a diploma in film-making from the famous New York Film Academy. Pathak came back to India after completing his diploma to pursue his career.
Abhishek Pathak was involved in a controversy regarding the film Bala. In 2019, he received a legal notice from the team Bala for copying some parts of the movie in his movie Ujda Chaman.
He justified this controversy by stating the facts that how it is possible for me to copy the movie Bala as Ujda Chaman’s trailer was released on 1 October 2019 whereas Bala movie’s trailer got released on 10 October 2019. He later sent a notice to Maddock Films when Bala was announced.
Regarding this case in an interview, he said that I am in discussion with the team now. I have given them all the documents which clearly prove that he didn’t copy their movie.
Additionally, he said there is no similarity except for the character being bald. Later, this issue was resolved, but the public also caught this and said there are many similarities between both films.
Abhishek Pathak started off his career as an Assistant Director and now he is a well-known Director in the Bollywood industry. In 2006, he started with the short film ‘The Awakening,’ in which he was an assistant director, and in the film Omkara, he was an executive producer.
He also worked as an assistant producer during his struggle phase. Abhishek, as an assistant producer produced movies like One Two Three, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, No Smoking, and some others.
Abhishek tried his hand at writing also. He wrote a short film Boond, which got a National Film Award. Later, he produced and directed various movies including Pyaar ka Punchnama, Pagalpanti, Section 375, Alone, and some other famous films. Pathak wrote the adapted screenplay of Drishyam 2.
Abhishek Pathak created his own advertising agency as a one-point solution for brands and films named Brain On Rent in 2009. Pathak is also the founder and managing director of ‘Panorama Studios.’ This year a lot of good movies are coming from Abhishek Pathak’s side which the audience will enjoy a lot.
