Janhvi Kapoor And Ranveer Singh To Star Together In Tezaab Remake

Bollywood surprises us differently! While we already have seen so many magical Jodis and movies on screen, we are sure you’ll be surprised to know about this one! Janhvi Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are all set to star in the remake of a popular Bollywood movie- Tezaab! Yes, you heard it right- the Bollywood active hero and one of the finest dancers is set to cast with Sri Devi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor.

The famous Bollywood movie Tezaab is a super duper hit of the then Bollywood hot couple- Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor, and now the newcomers will fulfill their roles.

Many people wanted to see Ranveer Singh and Janhvi Kapoor together onscreen- and their wait is over. They may finally witness the magic of the two Bollywood actors and rejoice in the old Bollywood blockbuster Tezaab. These two Bollywood stars have been approached to be cast in the superhit movie.

It is a classic remake of the iconic movie called Tezaab, starring Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor back in the 90s! Who had the rights to the movie? Who is directing? Is the movie confirmed? Are these just the rumors? Is there any confirmation about the official release? Are the actors confirmed for the movie?

We are sure you have a lot of questions about this! The simple answer is – it’s still under process. We still don’t have any update on the director or dates of the movie. Neither is the movie shooting (as of now), but we can expect Ranveer Singh and Janhvi Kapoor to accept the lead roles and start their shoot soon!

Janhvi Kapoor And Ranveer Singh To Star Together In Tezaab Remake

According to the scoop and rumors around, Murad Khetani reportedly bought the film rights last year. The producer wanted to start this project and already was planning the pre-production. If this speed remains; the movie will start sooner than expected!

The makers have already narrowed their casting to Ranveer Singh and Janhvi Kapoor but were also interested in Kartik Aryan and Shraddha Kapoor but later dropped the latter cast. They chose the former and are ready to move ahead (just waiting for the actors to confirm!).

Murad was already excited about this movie- he purchased the remake rights for the same. He stated in an interview how this movie is iconic. He also said he wanted to adapt this story and change it to the modern style (hence we can expect some twists and turns!).

The producer is very confident about his production and is expected to make something unique and timeless. The former director of the movie N Chandra also spoke regarding the same. He said he has full faith in the director.

The director after knowing about the remake said that work should not be done on iconic movies. It may sound fun but lead to damage! These movies are timeless for a reason, and playing with them may have repercussions. The audience may not like the concept or idea- they may want to return to the old one.
