Kajol Wears Ajay Devgn’s Watch On The Red Carpet At The 2023 Filmfare Awards

Bollywood actress Kajol, wearing her husband Ajay Devgan’s watch grabbed everyone’s attention at the 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2023 function held in Mumbai last night. The gorgeous actress who appeared in an absolute boss lady look, chose to walk the red carpet in a patterned shimmery black pantsuit designed by ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
Kajol shared a few photographs of her stunning attire on Instagram before attending the event. Going by the actress’s social media post, the idea of her attire was her own whereas the execution was done by Radhika Mehra.
Kajol drew inspiration for her pantsuit look from Bollywood’s leading actors who always turn up at the event in a classic black suit. While sharing the photos, the actress wrote on Instagram “ Decided to be my own hero today off the red carpet and on it! Inspiration by the all-time red carpet heroes’ It was followed by hashtagging prominent actors such as Ajay Devagan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan. The actress also hashtagged the words ‘do it like a woman’.
Within a couple of hours, Kajol’s Instagram post was flooded with comments and likes. Actress Rakulpreet Singh commented ‘The best’ followed by a heart emoji whereas Mallika Bhat posted ‘smiling face with heart-eyes and fire emojis. Manish Malhotra, the man behind Kajol’s dazzling appearance also commented on her post with emojis of heart, smiling face with heart-eyes and fire emojis.
Interestingly, Kajol has bagged the maximum number of ‘Best Actress awards’ in the history of the Filmfare Awards. The movies for which the actress won the awards include Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Fanaa and My Name Is Khan.
As per news reports, Kajol will be next seen alongside star kid Ibrahim Ali Khan in his debut movie. Ibrahim is the son of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and brother of actress Sara Ali Khan. The untitled project is backed by ace director Karan Johar and helmed by Kayoze, son of actor Boman Irani.
The story of the movie is based on Kashmir terrorism and reportedly Kajol will be playing an emotionally strong character. The movie is special due to the reason Kajol is reuniting with Karan Johar after a long 12 years. The last movie in which both of them associated together was the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘My Name Is Khan’.
Kajol recently acted in her debut web series titled ‘ ‘The Good Wife – Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka’ which will be aired on the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar. It is an adaptation of “The Good Wife”, an American legal drama television series aired on CBS.
Kajol will be playing the role of a lawyer for the first time in the series. While speaking about her OTT debut, the actress said that she is quite excited. She went on to add that though she has portrayed several characters in her acting journey, the firsts are always special.
