1. Kheer Ganga Expedition

The nine-kilometer, four-hour trek to Kheer Ganga of emerald green hills is not for the faint of heart due to the narrow and rough pathways. Despite its difficulties, it is both an exciting and easy activity in Kasol.

Kheer Ganga

Kheer Ganga marks the end of Parvati Valley. This region will be blanketed with snow most of the year, and during the warmer months, it will only be partially covered. However, this still creates a dangerously slippery surface and path for pedestrians and hikers.

2. Parvati River

Unlike the boisterous and hungry Beas River, the Parvati River provides a mesmerizing image of the beautiful Parvati Valley and the adjacent woodlands on both sides, with pine trees towering high above them.

Parvati River

During the monsoons, the rivers’ steep inclines cause the water to surge quickly, tempting any avid rafter or water sports enthusiast to grab his Flyus travel. You’ll have to cross a rickety old wooden bridge to get to the opposite side of the river, which adds a certain air of adventure.

You may take in the beauties of this aquatic pride of Himachal Pradesh while you rest on one of the giant boulders that border the river’s banks.

3. Visit Tosh

Located in the remote Parvati Valley at an altitude of around 2400 meters, the little village of Tosh is a classic example of a Himachali settlement. The town has become famous for its cannabis plantations.

Tosh

The breathtaking views of the surrounding hills clothed in dense Himalayan vegetation. Seeing Tosh and learning about the origins of the Himachal Pradesh culture and way of life is one of the most enjoyable activities in Kasol.

4. Manikaran Sahib Is worth a look

Approximately 6 kilometers from Kasol, you’ll find the Gurudwara of Manikaran Sahib, right in the middle of the raging River Beas. It is something that everyone visiting Kasol should do, no matter what their religious beliefs are.

Manikaran Sahib

To wash away one’s sins and wrongdoings, the locals recommend visiting the area’s hot springs.

5. Manikaran Has A Natural Hot Spring

Holy to both the Sikh and Hindu faiths, Manikaran is the site of natural hot springs. Close to Bhuntar and Kasol, it may be found in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.

Manikaran Natural Hot Spring

Manikaran, on the Parvati River, is home to important religious sites for both the Sikhs and the Hindus.

6. Get Your Fill Of Israeli Cuisine

You may picture yourself feasting on shakshouka, lemon pastries, and other delicious Israeli dishes while gazing at the Himalayas and other beautiful snow-capped mountains. There’s a good reason why Kasol is sometimes called the “little Israel of India.”

Israeli Cuisine

Kasol’s quaint cafes and rowdy street food give a wonderful setting for sampling the local cuisine and hearing exciting discussions on the weather. You will become weak in the knees from the excellent meals at “Turquoise Kasol” and “The Evergreen.”

You may try royally delicious dishes at the Evergreen restaurant and cafe, like “Hello to the queen” and “Hello to the king.”

7. Kasol: Get Out And Do Some Window Shopping

When they go to a new destination, one of our first thoughts is what souvenirs they can buy to take home. Kasol is a terrific place to find some of the best antiques for your house, memories, and wardrobe, so you should realize it immediately.

Kasol

If you find yourself in Kasol longing for some retail therapy, you can’t go wrong at any of the town’s various markets, especially the one in Bhuntar. You may add to your collection of semiprecious stones, t-shirts, woolens, linens, rugs, and carpets.

Much more by shopping at Kasol.

8. Rice Beer

Everyone must follow the strict no-alcohol-allowed rule when traveling so that everyone may enjoy their trip to the fullest. The rice beer, a world-famous offering from Kasol, is a must-try on each trip there.

Rice Beer

Because of its fantastic experience, delicious taste, and utter absence of alcohol. The only way to acquire any is to ask your host to go out and fetch some for you, but be prepared. However, they can quickly get it for you because of their hospitality.

Known locally as “Chang,” this experience is one of the best in Kasol and shouldn’t be missed.

9. Moon Dance Cafe

One of the most well-known hangouts for tourists in Kasol, the Moon Dance Café offers a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making it the perfect place to have a conversation or take some great pictures.

Moon Dance Cafe

All sorts of delicious foods are available here at prices that would make even a tight budget smile. Scrambled eggs, homemade bread rolls, and other mouthwatering breakfast options are only the beginning of what this restaurant offers.

10. Enjoy Yourself At The Crowded Music Event

The Hype Music Festival in Kasol is one of the most popular events held there, and it’s a great value since it includes admission to many events. BBQ, a campfire, and other sensory-filling activities will accompany the incredible musical lineup including world-renowned DJs.

Crowded Music Event

All your wacky feelings are amplified by the psychedelic lighting and furnishings. It is one of the most enjoyable things to do in Kasol since the festivities are heightened by the crisp mountain air.
