Bangalore is a busy city with several astonishing destinations. What makes the location more interesting is that the places could be comfortably visited within a day which makes it perfect for short- or one-day road trips.

Ramanagaram

This is a town which is located 50 Kilometers away from Bangalore. It’s known for being a picturesque spot with hills and rock formations surrounding it. Ramanagaram is also called the Silk City of India due to its massive silk production contributing to the state’s economy and trade.

The closest Airport is situated in Bangalore hence a bus or taxi is by far the best option to reach by road the Indian railways are one of the largest and connect several major cities and states. You can visit here between the months of November and February.

Savandurga

Savandurga is a hill offering great views for its visitors and a popular trekking destination among Anthargange, Bheemeshwari, and Skandagiri. The hill is a part of the Deccan plateau and is located 60 kilometers west of Bengaluru.

Avalabetta or Dhenugiri is a scenic hill station that comes along with trekking trails. The name ‘Avalu’ in Telugu means Cattle translating it to Cattle Hill. It is high around an altitude of 1158 meters. It is one of the minor hills in the Deccan plateau.
