Randeep Hooda is an Indian actor who works majorly in Hindi and English films. In 2001, he made his debut in Bollywood with the Mira Nair-directed film ‘Monsoon Wedding’. Later, Randeep went on to act in several hit films such as Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Highway, Cocktail, and Sultan. Randeep Hooda Family

Randeep was born on the 20th of August 1976 to Dr. Ranbir Hooda, a surgeon, and Asha Hooda, a social worker. The actor’s elder sister Anjali Hooda Sangwan is a doctor by profession. Randeep also has a younger brother Sandeep Hooda, who is an engineer.

Randeep fell in love with Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen on the sets of the film ‘Karma Holi’. The couple started dating in 2006 and they parted ways in 2008. Later, in 2010, Randeep started a relationship with Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra. However, the actor couple had a breakup in 2013.

In 2023 August, Mahesh Manjrekar, the ace Bollywood director made a controversial revelation about how Randeep interfered excessively in the script of ‘Swantantrya Veer Savarkar’, a biopic made on legendary politician Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.

Though Mahesh was supposed to direct the film, Randeep made interferences often and asked him to incorporate characters such as Hitler, the King of England, and the Prime Minister of England. Since Mahesh found those suggestions totally irrelevant, he finally walked out of the project.

Randeep entered Bollywood with the 2001 film ‘Monsoon Wedding’ directed by Mira Nair. He played the character of Rahul Chadha in the film. After acting in his first film, Randeep joined actor Naseeruddin Shah’s theater troupe Motley.
