Controversies
One of the major controversies regarding the figure turned up during the pandemic times. During this time a death count of 24 had been reported from a place called Chamarajanagar which was under the administrative zone of the official.
This particular place is quite near to the city of Mysuru. People and political activists alleged that it was Rohini who prevented the transportation of oxygen cylinders which could have helped the patients get their lives back.
The allegations escalated and reached the High Court of the state. But later her innocence has been proved and the allegations got dismissed.
One of the latest controversies about the figure is a feud that happened between Rohini and IPS D Roopa. The social media platform Facebook was where the feud took place which gained media attention and momentum in no time.
The issue also reached the governmental levels of the state of Karnataka. Now, both of the officials and IAS Munish Mudgil who is the husband of IPS D Roopa got a transfer order from the government for the undesired actions from their side.
