Jhansi is an ancient and historic place which is situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh. To be precise Jhansi lies in the extreme south of the state, in a region called Bundelkhand near the banks of the Pahuj river. 1. Jhansi Museum

This architectural and historic marvel is situated 16 kilometers from Jhansi, Madhya Pradesh. The complex was built in 1501 AD by king Raja Rudra Pratap Singh of the Bundela dynasty. The complex is a magnificent show-off of Mughal and Rajput architecture, stylishly decorated with colorful marble-like windows, platforms, balconies, and large mirrors on the ceiling.
