Akshay Kumar And Emraan Hashmi Starrer Selfiee To Release In Theatres In 2023

Bollywood is ready to welcome an explosion of talent on the big screen! 2023 is going to be good as there’s a list of movies that are going to be released in theatres. One of those which we can’t wait for is “Selfiee” – a collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. This Akshay Kumar starrer will have Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty in the female lead roles and their chemistry is yet to be seen on the big screen.
We have already lost count of how many movies Akshay Kumar does in a year. A complete package of entertainment, this hero gives us all – action, comedy, romance, and drama. Coming together with him is Emraan Hashmi – the man who has proved that he has a lot to give to Bollywood. The duo released a glimpse of this upcoming movie a few months back but there has been a hush-hush about it after that.

But now, Akshay Kumar took to Instagram and officially announced that Selfiee would be released in 2023. This year, the actor has already had an OTT release – Cattputlli, and four theatre movies – Raksha Bandhan, Samrat Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, and Ram Setu. These movies received mixed reviews from the audience but it has in no way stopped the actor from completing his deeds in Tinsel Town.
Emraan Hashmi showcased his talent in the amazing thriller – Chehre opposite Amitabh Bachchan. The movie was released in 2021 and since then the actor has only been seen preparing for Selfiee.
Diana Penty was seen only in a few movies, including Cocktail and happy Bhag Jayegi.
Nushrratt Bharucha has been stealing love from Bollywood since her Pyaar ka Punchnama days.
Earlier some speculations were going around that Selfiee would be an OTT release but Akshay Kumar’s social media announcement has silenced them all. He shared a picture from the upcoming movie. In that post, Akshay Kumar is sitting on a red car’s rooftop and is posing for the camera. He is looking dapper as always and we can’t wait to see what the movie is all about.
Captioning this amazing picture, Akshay Kumar wrote that his today’s mantra includes everything – faux, humidity, and garmi. Everything would work till he has the ability to work. He also shared in the caption that everyone was busy shooting for a Selfie movie song and they would see us in theatres on 24th February.
As soon as the post was updated on Instagram, every fan around the world came pouring comments with fire and red heart emoticons. One fan wrote that Akshay Kumar looks outstanding and another one asked them to Bring It On! Not only fans but Bollywood celebrities also wished the actor good luck with the upcoming movie.
Akshay Kumar, a versatile actor in Bollywood is shooting for plenty of movies. The list includes OMG 2, Soorarai Pottru Remake, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Jolly LLB 3, Khel Khel Mein, Capsule Gill, and more.
