1. Bhatinda Falls
Being a top-listed industrial city, Dhanbad can be misunderstood as a polluted and hustling city everywhere and at every time. But the city also preserves gems of natural beauty that fill the soul and body of the visitors with a cooling sense of revitalization.
The Bhatinda Waterfalls are one among them. This mesmerizing waterfall flows through the magnificent formations of rocks adding royal pride to its overall charm. Bhatinda waterfalls have also got the name, “waterfall of Moonidih”.

2. Maithon Dam

3. Birsa Munda Park
When you feel like sitting back and relaxing on your trip to Dhanbad, Birsa Munda Park becomes the undoubted destination. This is the only park you can find in this industrial city. It is a perfect location to click picnic photographs.
Children can also have a fun time in the park since the authorities have facilitated an exclusive children’s park and a toy train inside the park. Walkways and canteen offering foods and beverages also ease the refreshing experience inside the park.

4. Topchanchi Lake

Believed to have been brought to the place by the Goddess Vaishno Devi. Diwali and Dussehra are the festive seasons of the temple. Every Tuesday and Friday, the temple conducts special worship for the deity.
6. Panchet Dam
Like the Maithon Dam, the Panchet Dam is also constructed by “Damodar Valley Corporation”. This is a multi-purpose dam inaugurated in the year of 1959. The dam is situated near a hill known as Panchet which later gets transferred as the name of the dam.
Tourists prefer Panchet Dam for their day trips in Dhanbad city. The easy accessibility of the dam also makes it the favorite hangout spot for tourists. The dam is built across the river of Damodar.
7. Lilori Sthan Mandir
This is also a Hindu pilgrim spot dedicated to the goddess Kali. The temple is in proximity to the river, Katri. The locals are ardent devotees of the deity in the temple since it is believed that the Goddess kali is the protector of the native people there.
The religious customs and rituals performed in the temple are quite interesting for the tourists visiting the temple. The occasions of Kali Puja are celebrated with flooding crowds.
