Maibang

Maibang is a culturally and historically relevant destination in the state of Assam and near the village of Jatinga. This is a semi-urban area in the surroundings of Jatinga village. The historical relevance of this place is due to its former position of being the capital of the kingdom of Dimasa.

The stone house found in the town is quite popular among the tourists visiting the destination. This particular stone house belongs to the Dimasa king who ruled the region years before.
