Sonam Kapoor And Dia Mirza Look Lovely In Black Ethnic Wear At Masaba Gupta And Satyadeep Misra’s Wedding

Fashion designer Masaba Gupta and Bollywood actor Satyadeep Misra got married in an intimate wedding function held on January 27th. Hours later, the couple threw a party for their friends and who’s who of the film industry.

Masaba is the daughter of Vivian Richards, the former West Indies cricket player, and Neena Gupta, the Hindi actress, and television director.

Apart from Vivian and Neena, the wedding bash was attended by close family members including Vivek Mehra, Neena’s husband, and Satyadeep’s mother and sister. The other major Bollywood stars who attended the post-wedding party include Sonam Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Dia Mirza, Konkona Sen Sharma, and several others.

At the wedding, Mazaba, the bride looked absolutely stunning in a Barfi Pink ‘paan-Patti’ lehenga designed by ‘House of Masaba’, her own fashion house. She paired it with two beautiful lehengas, a Lime Green Wallflower Print dupatta with a sequinned border & the second one, a rani pink one with ‘open hearts’ embellished on it.

Another major attraction was her customized ‘Chand Taara’ headgear inspired by the South Indian headgear. The groom Satyadeep appeared in a beautiful off-white, printed kurta.  

Sonam Kapoor, who gave birth to a baby boy in August last year, looked stunning in an ethnic black-and-white outfit. The actress paired it beautifully with a pearl choker and earrings, completing her traditional Indian look in style. Sonam came alone for the party and posed with a bright smile for the photographers.

Actress Dia Mirza was accompanied by her husband Vaibhav Rekhi for the wedding bash. She looked absolutely gorgeous in a printed golden and black gown. Both Dia and Vaibhav posed for photos outside the party venue.

Soni Razdan, the actor-director, grabbed the attention of the onlookers with a beautiful floral-printed kaftan. Actor and television presenter Gaurav Kapur appeared in a grey suit with a black shirt and black shoes. Asish Nehra, the Indian cricketer came dressed in a black shirt and off-white colored pants. The former MTV anchor Cyrus Sahukar looked dazzling in a black suit and white shirt. 

The newly wedded Masaba Gupta on her official Instagram account posted photos of her wedding. The photo along with Satyadeep had the caption “ Married my ocean of calm, this morning. Here’s to many more lifetimes of love, peace, stability, and, above all, laughing.” Neena Gupta, her daughter’s mother, also posted wedding images on her Instagram account.

Satyadeep Mishra, an actor made his debut in Bollywood in 2011 with the movie ‘No One Killed Jessica’. A law graduate, he worked for some time as a corporate lawyer before venturing into acting.

Satyadeep got married to Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari, but the couple parted ways in 2013. Masaba, in her fashion designing career, has collaborated with fashion brands of international repute such as Maybelline.

In 2019, she also acted in a Netflix tv series along with her mother Neena Gupta. Mazaba was earlier married to Madhu Mantena, a film producer. In September 2019, the couple officially got divorced.
