Massive Fire Breaks Out At Bhagirath Palace Market In Delhi

Hello readers, today we bring in the news about a drastic event that happened in the capital city of India, Delhi. Reportedly, the Bhagirath palace market in Delhi had massive fire breaks that led to chaotic and dangerous situations in the capital city of India.

Bhagirath Palace Market On Fire

The massive fire started in Old Delhi’s Bhagirath Palace market that is unknown for its electronics and materials. According to the sources, and reports, a major part of the building has been damaged. Police have suggested a preliminary inquiry about the same. According to the people the fire started at a shop and started spreading adjacently. It was all electronics, the damage would have been worse but it was not that severe. The adjacent shops got affected and led to the building damage, causing alarm to the shop keepers as well as customers.

It was on thursday when the massive fire broke at the Bhagirath palace. The market is known for the electronics and many people come to buy the cost effective products. Unlike the other markets, it is usually populated by vendors or people who work in electronics. The officials reported that about 40 fire tenders were present at the scene. They were all present on the spot as the fire operation was going on. Further they also suggested running a preliminary inquiry about the same.

Atul Garg, the Delhi fire service director was constantly giving updates on Thursday about the situation. After the call, he only told the reporters that the situation is under control and good as of now. Although 40 fire tenders are there at the spot and a major part of the building is damaged.

The fire broke out immensely in chandni chowk at the Bhagirath palace market and when the scene was reported there were around 18 to 20 fire tenders. They all rushed to the spot and started the extinguishing process that got controlled after a while.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan, the former health minister also commented how efforts are being put to control the fire and make the situation normal. He also reported that the fire officials as well as the police are on the site looking after people and situations. Although the fire has not been brought under control so far, the two floors are damaged. Thankfully no casualty is reported but the reason for the fire is unknown. Police are still investigating the same.

Although the cause of fire is unknown it has been suggested to run the examinations and know the same. The department also reported that they got the report around 9:19 PM and 30 fire tenders were sent to action and deal with the emergency. The fire department has also suggested a preliminary inquiry- that reported that the fire started from one shop and led to the other adjacent shops. The cause of the fire is unknown and police are trying to find the same.

We hope the people are safe and sound in Bhagirath Palace Market. The police will soon find out the cause of the fire and how it all started, till then stay safe!
